My mom, whom is one of the most giving people I have ever known has been diagnosed with Brain Cancer. She would sooner give her shirt off of her back to a homeless person than see them go cold. She truely is one in a million. She is the mom that all my friends wished was their mom because she was always there , always understanding and thoughtful. My mom has put us kids above herself her whole life and now she is suffering and none of us can really help but be there for her and we feel so helpless!
I am reaching out to all those people who have a mom, an aunt, a sister, a wife, a grandmother who can understand what it would be like to lose them. We are currently unable to pay for her stacking medical bills. She was denied healthcare coverage because of a pre-existing condition and didn’t qualify for benefits.
Please I ask you as a son, who is losing his mother and can’t do anything but make a website to ask others for their generosity. I beg of you please find it in your hearts to donate and help us pay for her medical expenses. We are not asking for much, a 1.00 would help anything you could possibly spare to help save a life, or at the very least extend it so that we can be with her longer!
You may be asking yourself if this is a scam, and it is not, you can contact me via Email and I will respond personally, I will even call you directly if need be. If you have any questions at some point I will be updating the website to include comments and other things, to make it easier to exchange thoughts and thank you’s.
Right now I pray that we can beat the brain cancer, and that my family may have our mom back and in one piece!
Thank you all for your kind generosity! Once we have raised enough money I will be removing the donate button because I do not believe in asking for more than we need.
Thank you so much!
Loving son,
Mark
*Update as of November 2010 she was able to get PCIP coverage. However, she still has medical bills stacking up from before the PCIP took effect. Thank you to to Pres. Obama, whose office staff actually called our mom to check up!
I know it isnt much but I hope it helps prayers and thoughts with you guys and your mom!
Mark,
Sent a donation to you all. I know Melissa from Los Angeles. I will be praying for Teresa, that the Lord’s will be done, and that healing take place. We don’t always fully understand why we go through certain hardships such as this, but having had close relatives with similar sicknesses I know it isn’t easy in the least. Jesus said to rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. I weep with you and pray for you now. God be with you and bless you, for He works all things out for the good.
Patrick
“Ask and you shall receive whatever you need.”—-Jesus
I’m hoping to make it on Sunday but, just in case if I can’t I already sent a little donation over. I wish I could send more. I hope and pray that your mom gets better and they take all the cancer away.
HUGS
Hello Mark:
Just wondering how your Mom is doing…? Please let me know.
My mom is not doing well at all.. She is holding in there but I fear anyday now she could slip away in her sleep. At least I hope if she does fade into the night it is in her sleep and not in some traumatic ER visit. Keeping my chin up for now and hoping for the best as always! Thank you everyone for all your thoughts/prayers and donations they have all helped us in so many ways!
